Employee Resource Groups
Employee resource groups, or ERGs, are a catalyst for community and representation at Cox. These peer-led groups promote workplace inclusion, generate connections across the company and allow employees to hear diverse perspectives. ERGs are open to all Cox employees, offering opportunities for membership and leadership.
- BAA (Black/African American ERG)
- DiverseAbility (disability ERG)
- Hola (Hispanic/Latinx ERG)
- Ignite + Thrive (early career ERGs)
- Lotus (Asian/Pacific Islander ERG)
- Mosaic (multicultural ERG)
- Pride (LGBTQ+ ERG)
- Salute (veterans ERG)
- WERG + Women With Drive (women’s ERG)
I believe that when you have a diverse and inclusive work culture where employees can feel heard and valued and engaged, it leads to happier and more productive employees. ERGs are a great vehicle to promote inclusion because when employees join them they can learn about other groups but also feel a sense of belonging at work. They allow us to feel we can be our authentic selves.
Public Affairs Manager
Diverse and inclusive teams help us generate better ideas, reach more balanced decisions, engage our communities and help our clients achieve better outcomes. This is celebrated at Cox and is the guiding light for how our ERGs operate.
Product Manager
Cox’s employee resource groups make you feel immediately at home. It’s encouraging to see the value that Cox puts on maintaining this level of inclusion, and having senior leadership represent these groups helps to bring even more visibility to things that might be impacting a marginalized group within our community.

Let Your Voice Be Heard
Our “Let Your Voice Be Heard” series was born in response to racial injustice events in 2020. Now, it’s an ongoing project through which our employees share their unique perspectives on cultural identity, empowering our collective organization to learn, address discrimination in our communities and celebrate our differences.
Inclusion, Diversity & Equity Goals
We’re proud of the strides we’ve made, but we recognize that driving inclusion, diversity and equity is an ongoing effort – one that requires buy-in and commitment. Here are two of the ways we plan to make progress in this space:
- Improve executive people of color representation by 50% over five years
- Spend $1B annually with diverse suppliers by 2026
